It's been a real joy to watch Andrew grow and develop. He is much more content now that he can recognize our faces and voices. Unlike the first few weeks when he did nothing but cry, Andrew now smiles all the time - and he usually does it when we ask him to do so (probably because Jim and I make the goofiest faces when we're asking him for one). He can also entertain himself by just staring at the moving ceiling fan, swatting at the hanging animals on his play-mat, or sucking his fists while sitting on his swing (the same swing that he hated only a couple of weeks ago). Since I don't have to hold him every second of his waking life, I can now tackle the moutainload of dirty laundry!
