As a mother and the person who spends more time waking and feeding Andrew at night, I am disappointed that Andrew's first word isn't "Mama" but "Baba" (Chinese for Papa). I guess it makes sense since every time Jim walks into the room, I would point to Jim and say "Baba" in front of Andrew. Andrew probably doesn't understand that he is calling for his dad since he uses the term indiscriminately. I'm just wondering when he'll work "Mama" into his everyday baby babble!

It's actually physiologically easier to say baba than mama. So don't be disappointed! He's just on track hitting his milestones!
