Fall Festivities

The fall has been quite busy for us.  Andrew learned how to crawl up and down the stairs, walk, blow kisses (well, it's really just smacking his open hand against his face rather quickly), wave goodbye, clap his hands, and say "Pee Pee" when he's actually doing the other.  Andrew also started at a new daycare this week after being on the waitlist for over three months.  Unlike the first time we introduced him to daycare, Andrew now knows better and refuses to get into his car seat in the mornings.  He's so scared of the car now that he won't even get in after we pick him up from school to go home!

We decided to do something fun with Andrew this weekend since he's been so mad at us for abandoning him at school.  We went to a local farm with my high-school friend Daniele and her family.  We figured since we live in the suburbs, we may as well drive a little further west to the "country".  Andrew didn't seem all too interested in the activities though.  Maybe it was the cold, or maybe he was just tired and cranky, but the only time he smiled was when we put his face against a grown farmer's body.  Anyway, Daniele and I thought that our kids were a little too young this year but they will probably have a blast when they get older.
